Americká autorka s vyše šestnásť miliónov výtlačkov svojich kníh, ktoré sa prekladajú do dvadsaťtri jazykov sveta.
Získala mnohé ocenenia: víťazka Romantic Times Awards, Award for Best Contemporary Fiction Writer a mnohé iné.
Jej celoživotnou láskou bolo čítanie a prvú časť svojho života venovala práve tomuto hobby. Druhá časť jej života bola viac hektická: získala titul magistra v angličtine a začala ju učiť, stala sa matkou a spisovateľkou. Svoj čas delila tak, aby sa mohla venovať rodine, písaniu a domácim maznáčikom (má psa i mačku).
